Gailes Restaurant and Hotel was opened in 2002 as part of the redevelopment of an area of ground midway between Troon and Irvine.

Five years on the development has matured into a leisure playground for locals and visitors to Ayrshire alike with two nine hole golf courses, driving range and leisure and spa facilities at the North Gailes Leisure Complex.

A new build golf course, designed by Kyle Phillips and owned by Loch Lomond Golf Club makes Dundonald Links one of Scotland's finest new layouts.

Gailes Restaurant and Hotel provides the third side of this triangle.

Adjacent to main dual carriageway connections north, south and east, Gailes Hotel is only ten minutes from Glasgow Prestwick Airport and now less than half an hour to Glasgow itself.

The hotel has developed itself over the past five years from its humble beginnings and already the bedrooms have seen full make overs upgrading them towards four star standard; a purpose built conference and banqueting suite now plays host to weddings and business functions; the penthouse suite and Rooftop Conservatory provide unique accommodation and entertaining facilities and even these have been recently augmented by a new downstairs Lounge and Garden Room.
