We have noted a few Frequently Asked Questions regarding Golf at The Gailes.
Do I need to book to use the driving range or the VIP heated bays?
No you don’t need to book. Our driving range operates on a first come, first serve basis. Our quietest period is between 9-11am. VIP heated bays are an additional £5.75 per hour. Please make team aware if you would like to use the VIP bay. Access the driving range via GG’s Coffee Shop.
What are the driving range opening hours?
Mon-Sun 9am-9.30pm (last entry 8.45pm)
What are the procedures when I arrive at the driving range?
Please arrive via GGs Coffee Shop main entrance. The team will get your ball barcodes at the front till. Please make your way through Affordable Golf to get to the driving range. The ball machine is located to your right as you come into the foyer.
Do I need to book a table at GG’s
No, GG’s operates on a first come, first serve basis for both inside and outdoor on the terrace.
Is GG’s dog friendly?
Yes, we allow well behaved dogs in the sports lounge area indoors and the outdoor terrace area. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and all four paws on the ground.
Is the Golf Simulator in use?
Unfortunately the golf simulator is unavailable at this current time. Please keep an eye on social media and website for updates.
Can I hire golf clubs for the driving range?
Yes. We have a limited selection of clubs for hire for the driving range. Please ask a member of GG’s team for more info.
What time is Affordable Golf retail shop open until?
Affordable Golf retail shop is open 7 days, 9am-5pm. They can be contacted direct on 01294 447435
Can I use the gym if I am not a member?
No. Use of the fitness suite and studio classes are exclusive for members only. Please view more info about membership here.
