The Gailes Hotel & Spa wins another wedding venue award

The Gailes Hotel & Spa has been named ‘Best Hotel Wedding Venue’ in the west of Scotland at the prestigious Confetti Wedding Awards 2025.

The award-winning SimpsInns venue faced stiff competition and came out on top against leading wedding venues from across Scotland.

Confetti is an independently judged award scheme celebrating the best of the Scottish wedding industry. Winners are chosen following a nationwide search for the best companies as voted for by their customers, as well as being researched and reviewed by a panel of industry specialists.

Located just 40 minutes from Glasgow, The Gailes Hotel & Spa has quickly established itself as one of the most stylish and contemporary wedding venues on the Ayrshire coast.

Re-launched in 2022 after a £250,000 luxurious makeover, The Lagavulin Suite at The Gailes has the flexibility to host smaller, intimate weddings, as well as more extravagant gatherings for up to 250 guests, including civil and religious ceremonies. The Gailes also has a purpose-built outdoor Wedding Pavilion located in the hotel’s private gardens, plus the elegant rooftop conservatory and garden terrace with sweeping views over the countryside and beyond to the Isle of Arran.

Continued investment has been a key strategy for the growth of Simpsinns over the last four years, including over £3.5million at The Gailes and over £300,000 with the launch of The Potting Shed in 2024.

It promises to be another exciting year for the family-run business, which will include the launch of a new £3million sea view spa and the introduction of 17 additional guest rooms at The Waterside in 2025, plus refurbishment makeover of the restaurant and bar at The Loans.
