We have the flexibility to provide a range of event options; from smaller, more intimate gatherings to larger and more extravagant events to cater for up to 250 guests in our Lagavulin Suite. For more intimate events we have various smaller rooms such as the Balvenie, Macallan and Talisker Lounges.

Funeral Teas & Celebration of Life

At The Gailes Hotel & Spa, we offer a dignified, warm and private setting for funeral teas, wakes, and celebration of life gatherings. Located in Irvine, Ayrshire, our elegant function suites, attentive staff, and flexible catering options allow you to plan a meaningful farewell for your loved one with ease and compassion.

We have several private rooms available to suit your needs:

  • Garden Room — ideal for smaller, intimate gatherings

  • Lagavulin Suite — accommodates larger groups comfortably

  • Coast Restaurant or private dining rooms can also be arranged for funeral parties

Each room includes flexible seating layouts, AV setup for photo tributes, and close access to parking and drop-off points.

We have a selection of options to suit, starting from £14.95 per person.

Conferences & Meetings

The Gailes offers a variety of conference suites on the ground floor plus several further options on the upper floor at the Penthouse, rooftop terrace and conservatory.

The Lagavulin Suite has a capacity for up to 250 delegates with a range of room configurations to suit. For more intimate meetings we have various breakout areas such as the Balvenie, Macallan and Talisker Lounges.

The main suites enjoy natural daylight from the floor to ceiling glass windows overlooking the private gardens and onto the golf course. The adjacent Talisker Bar leads onto the open terrace for additional break out space.

The Lagavulin Suite has been fitted with all the latest technology and audio/visual equipment and is fully air conditioned and can be adjusted and zoned to meet your needs.
